Rest. Be at Peace.

Hey there, welcome to my cozy little corner of the Internet! I’m thrilled you wandered in. Inside you’ll find essays, half‑baked ideas, and the occasional over‑caffeinated ramble; with any luck they’ll add a spark to your day. Before you head out, please pop into the guestbook and say hi!

Now, if you’re wondering why a millennial still runs a personal website in 2025, here’s the secret: freedom feels fantastic. I grew up dialing into CompuServe (AOL’s cool older cousin), back when the Web was the Wild West, messy, open, and bursting with possibility. Today’s Internet can feel like a corporate waiting room where our data gets neatly trimmed and sold like wool. Hard pass.

Just when I was ready to log off for good, I discovered NeoCities and the IndieWeb movement. One glimpse at those hand‑built, glitter‑crazy pages and I was instantly hooked. I dusted off my HTML and CSS, mixed in a shot of nostalgia, and started building.

And here we are. Grab a snack, explore, and let’s keep the web weird. 🙂

The struggle to do what is right is far from simple. To those who claim otherwise, I urge you to reflect deeply: if you truly believe it is easy, ask yourself whether your actions align with what is genuinely right. Does your path honor the highest truths? Some argue that "right" is subjective, shaped by perspective or circumstance. I say, with the utmost love, that's bullshit. There are two choices before us: one that fractures and one that mends; one that breeds hatred and one that cultivates love; one rooted in shadow and one bathed in light.

What I describe here is the eternal battle against darkness. As humans, we are imperfect, prone to distraction and error. The systems we inhabit whether they be cultural norms or societal structures, are often designed not to illuminate, but to obscure, diverting our focus toward power that thrives on division. I see this clearly, yet I still stumble, ensnared by the very forces I seek to resist.

I am not sure if others feel like they are in this same continous struggle, but as of late, I find myself disappointed that I have once again fallen. As I begin this new week, I hope I can recover and walk in the light once more. With God's help, I will do my best.
